seleena's story:
ok, my story goes like this. i have been a phantom planet fan for quite a while. in fact, three years. but i had never ever seen them before. i heard the music, liked them, never went to a show because i was a bit young, etc. but i still liked them a lot. then phantom planet were on loveline. woo! and then feburary brought the guest and i was super excited. and i saw all of them finally. it was rad. and i thought sam was the coolest. woo, that is my big story.
at the 7/24/02 show, i met jb and wanted my picutre taken. becca and i found these two girls who were talking to jb also to take our pictures. so we asked them politely and they took our picutres. a few days later, i saw a post on the phantom planet message boards that a girl went to the same show too! so i imed her and we talked and realised that she was the one who took our picture! that was crazy! so ashley and i kept talking to each other and i came up with the sfc. well, cos we like sam and there are fcs for the rest of the boys, so here's one for sam.
Ashley's Story:
I first heard and saw Phantom Planet live on May 26, 2001 at the HOB in Aneheim where they opened for Save Ferris. I absolutely fell in love with PP's music that night. I thought it was weird how I had actually been surrounded by PP stories and articles for years, but just fell in love with their music now. Then over the course of time I went to every one of PP's shows I possibly could and started talking to guys after shows. Sam was always incredibly nice and gracious everytime I talked to him no matter what, he's just an all around great guy to be around (ahh all the PP guys ROCK!), and he's THE BEST bass player around!! Haha That's part of how this all started.
Than at PP's show on July 24, 2002 as I am waiting to talk to Jacques after the show, a girl and her friend ask me and my friend to take a picture of them with Jacques. Fast forward a few days... this girl Im's me and it's Seleena. The big thing here... she's the girl who asked my friend to take a picture of her!! We keep talking and low and behold Sam keeps coming up in our convos... I think we found something here. At one point Seleena brought up the idea of a fan club for Sam and here we are today... the SFC!
